Honey Mustard Marinade

Honey Mustard Marinade and/or Dipping Sauce

Okay. This amount is to marinate 1-2 pounds of chicken. We do thighs because they are always juicy and tender deliciousness. Bonus: they’re less $ too ????   But listen to me, double or TRIPLE this recipe and reserve whatever portion that didn’t come into contact with that raw meat and simmer it for a few minutes for the most epic honey mustard sauce of yer life.

4 Tbsp Dijon mustard. The grainier the better in this for me. I love @thenewprimal
2 Tbsp honey. The raw organic from @thrivemarket is wowzer
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1-2 cloves minced or crushed garlic
Salt & Pepper

As a marinade, coat whatever you’re making well. Let sit for 30 minutes to overnight in the fridge. Grill, sauté, bake, … your choice.

As a sauce, you can absolutely serve as is and it’s great. If you have about 10 minutes, pop it in a saucepan, bring up to a boil and immediately lower to a low simmer. Simmer a few minutes until it thickens. This takes the bite out of the garlic a bit and sweetens it a touch more too. Try and not drink it and go ahead and send CFA your Dear John letter. Probably.
