Research says that upwards of 90% of our immune system is in our gut! Our guts need strong defenders to do their very important work.

Our bodies require balance. Good bacteria helps crush the opposition and keep us balanced and strong. The best way to get your probiotics are from food sources. We try and have at least one serving of raw fermented foods each day. I love to ferment my own carrots and green beans and more. I’ll have a batch of carrots going by the weekend.

I also enjoy the deliciousness and convenience of some purchased lacto fermented foods. @bubbiespickles are my favorite store bought pickles. They use artesian water and kosher salt even. The kids and I even love the brine. You can use it in place of vinegar in dressings or sauces or even in a fun drink. We drink it straight up. Cheers!
