Making your home and life healthier doesn’t have to be expensive. It doesn’t have to cost you more time, money, or energy than you can reasonably spend. In fact, it shouldn’t.

Creating and maintaining a healthier home and life should always be done with balance and healthy boundaries in place. Stress (financial, relational, emotional, mental) is not good for health and is quite toxic. It’s fruitless to try and create a “non toxic” life by living in fear or under inappropriate and unnecessary stress.

This is an encouragement that you are doing so much to make a healthy space for you and your loved ones. And some tips in case you’re ready to take it to the next level.

Your bedroom is one of the most important rooms in your home. We spend 1/3 of our lives in this space. Also, during sleep is when our bodies do the bulk of the healing, regenerating, and rebalancing they’ve been designed so beautifully to do. It’s not a room to overlook. There are many things you can buy or do to make this space healthier, but don’t neglect the basics. Plus, they’re free! Less clutter, less dust, relaxation inducing decor, rest promoting lighting. They’ll make a huge difference.
