Less = More

To make room for what is good, what we need is less.

You can buy all the supplements, binders, books, plans, products, and programs in the world and not be an ounce healthier. This can in and of itself become a hindrance to wellness. It’s also not the answer. Some of the things we add to life can support our journey to more overall wellness, sure. But there is no thing you’ll buy that will fix you.

It starts with less. We can’t heal while continuing to pour in the things that hinder and harm. Instead of searching for the magic pill or the bandage that is merely disguised bondage, let’s slow the flow of toxicity.

Less over-committing so there’s more time for the right things.
Less eating out and more homemade meals.
Less doing and more being.
Less ingredients and more whole foods.
Less expectations and more gratitude.
Less worry and more faith.
Less judging and more loving.
Less chemicals and more quality.
Less products and more purity.
Less activity and more connection.
Less overwhelm and more taking the next best step.
Less stuff and more enough.
Less avoiding and more feeling, dealing, and healing.
Less quick fixes and more recovery.

This new year and forward, I’m excited to continue to grow a little less toxic with you. Where we are with what we have and know and as it makes sense for us. A life that’s less toxic is about so much more than dinner and shampoo. Less toxic food, products, thoughts, behaviors, relationships… all of it. We have a race set out for us and for us to run it well, we have to choose to set aside anything that slows us. Let’s have a little less this year and make room for more.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” Hebrews 12:1
