True health involves all three areas. When any one aspect is suffering or lacking, it will impact the others. Sometimes one area may have an acute or urgent need and take the spotlight. We can tend to the most pressing need without allowing other areas of us to end up withering by the wayside.
When we become overly fixated on any one area, it often throws the others off kilter. Balance is beneficial. Whole-self-care is important.
All of you impacts all of you, and affects all who you impact. Take good care of you. All of the parts of you. You’re worth it. So are all the ones you have the privilege of impacting.
