It was about time I updated my profile pic. My hair had grown over a foot since the last picture. I picked this one. But just of me.
My health was what caused me to begin this journey. But it’s never been just about me.

My husband deserves to have a wife who is well. And he deserves to live in a home that is not harmful to him. He deserves health too. But it’s about more than us two.

When we decided to try to expand our family I began to expand the scope of my wellness journey. I educated myself and tried to best make a hospitable place for a baby to grow within my body. It became about a child I didn’t know if I’d ever meet.

We’ve been blessed with two incredible lives to steward and care for. To protect. They made my “why” so much deeper and more important than ever. I would give my life for theirs and so I do what I can to give them a life of wellness and health and fullness.

But my why is about more than even them. It’s about you too. I took my personal daily life and I allowed it to become public. The only reason I did that is you. You are part of my why. You are worthy of wellness. You matter. Your family matters. This is a place intended for community and encouragement. Support and and empowerment.
It’s about all of us. Together we are stronger. Together we are making changes. We’re paving the way for a healthier future for all. WE are my WHY.
